Naturally almost rot-resistant, acacia is a hardwood, highly resistant to moisture and various external attacks (insects, fungi). Its irregular shape allows it to blend seamlessly into the natural environment. Ranging
in color from yellow-green to golden brown, taking on an ochre hue under the influence of weathering and UV rays, acacia is the only European hardwood used in risk class 4 without any treatment. Acacia has a lifespan of 20 years when in contact with the ground.
