For effective protection against moisture, fungi, and insects, wood undergoes a vacuum and pressure autoclave treatment to impregnate it to its core with preservatives. This process involves filling all the wood cells with the treatment product. The treatment product is then added, under vacuum, and pressed deep into the wood. These agents are regulated and pose no risk to humans or the environment.
Class 4 treatment protects against insects, rot and fungi.
