Autoclave pine and larch decking boards, direct from Poland
Our decking boards are planed in Poland from autoclave-treated Scots pine or larch. Autoclave pine (green or brown finish) is protected to the core against insects and fungi; larch offers a naturally durable alternative without treatment. A range designed for builders’ merchants, installers and landscapers who want a manufacturer price on project volumes.
Sections and lengths
Two sections in the catalogue: 21 × 145 mm for standard residential decks and 27 × 145 mm for heavy use. Lengths available from 3.00 m to 5.00 m (3000, 3300, 3600, 4000, 4200, 4500, 4800 and 5000 mm), to optimise layouts and reduce offcuts.

21 or 27 mm: choosing the thickness according to joist spacing
The rule is simple: the thinner the board, the closer the joists must be. With 21 × 145 mm, aim for a joist spacing of about 40 cm; with 27 × 145 mm, you can increase it to 50–60 cm, cover longer spans and handle intensive traffic. At board ends, double the joist so that each end is screwed down flat: this is what prevents cupping over time.
Installation: pedestals, joists and protection
A durable deck depends on what is under the boards: installation on adjustable decking pedestals, ventilated joists and butyl joist protection tape to block standing moisture. On the wood treatment itself, see our article class 4 autoclave-treated Polish pine. Three rules complete the installation: stainless steel screws, two per bearing point; a 3 to 5 mm gap between boards for expansion and drainage; and ventilation under the decking (a deck that breathes dries quickly and lasts longer). For projects subject to DTU 51.4, our team can check your joist spacing and sections on drawings.

Maintenance and weathering
Without maintenance, both autoclave pine and larch take on a silver-grey patina: this is surface weathering with no effect on durability. To keep the original colour, apply a decking oil after the first season and then every 1 to 2 years. Annual cleaning (stiff brush and soapy water) is enough to limit moss in shaded areas.
Trade conditions

Frequently asked questions
Autoclave pine or larch?
Autoclave pine offers the best durability/price ratio for a standard deck. Larch, denser and naturally resistant, suits those who prefer untreated wood, which will turn grey naturally.
Which section to choose?
21 × 145 mm is enough for residential use on correctly spaced joists; 27 × 145 mm provides more rigidity for long spans and intensive use (reception decks, communal pool surrounds).

What is the service life of an autoclave pine deck?
With ventilated and drained installation, allow 15 to 25 years of use; class 4 autoclave treatment is guaranteed for 10 years against fungi and insects.
