Bois de Pologne – Pin raboté traité autoclave, acacia, noisetier
Bois de Pologne · IBP Group
Acacia stakes are very useful for building fences, or as supports in viticulture and arboriculture.
This product completes our range of autoclave-treated round posts, half-logs and peeled stakes.
A naturally almost rot-proof wood, acacia is a hardwood that is highly resistant to moisture and to external attack (insects, fungi). Its irregular cuts blend naturally into the landscape.
Ranging from yellow-green to golden brown and turning ochre under weather and UV, acacia is the only European hardwood used in use class 4 without any treatment. The service life of acacia is 20 years in ground contact.
Sourced from European forests, acacia has a low environmental impact compared with exotic alternatives. The absence of treatment and the proximity of its harvesting areas make it an ecological wood with a low carbon footprint.
Fencing, viticulture and arboriculture.
